The way I understand it is that you are only obliged to have extended wing mirrors if the caravan is wider than the car. Now I know absolutely nothing about the Freedom microlite sport, so couldn't say, and of course it depends on the width of the towing vehicle too. I hope someone will tell me if I'm wrong here.
Best wishes

You have to be able to see at least 25metres behind your caravan both sides. If you can't then you need mirrors.

it would help if you posted what your tow vehicle is and why you can'y get mirrors to fit.

The microlight discovery is 6'4" wide. If the bed goes across it will be wider than your car unless you drive a monster.
This link gives a review and pics of lots of mirrors

Interesting link there Navver, I wonder which ones would fit an L200 mirror. I'll have to get some & I suspect Mitsubishi will have a silly price tag on theirs if they do them.

B
I use the "Vision" mirror which is featured in that report on my Shogun 2.8 so I reckon it will be A OK for your L200.

Interestingly the "Suck it and see" mirror which is the second most expensive of the mirrors selected gets one of the worst reports, and the Repusel being the most expensive also gets a very poor report.

Thanks for that gm4pgv, I'll look into getting them. I need to get some with this wider caravan. The width difference is surprising & I reckon I'll get stopped if I don't fit some. They'll get used alongside the main mirrors & I'll be legal. Thanks again.

I have cheapo strapons, but must admit I do use the car mirror more than the extension as it covers the blindspots far better. I would hate to have any extension mirror sucker stuck in the middle of it.
