Hi there
Ive just bought a Bailey Orion and was wondering about what to use to wash it? Do I have to use the stuff for caravans or can I use washing up liquid or car shampoos?
Don't be fooled in to buying caravan specific stuff.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Elbow Grease is the real thing. You can probably buy it at other stores too.Black streaks just disappear. Never use anything else. Our new caravan still looks new after four years.
Just tried to wash my caravan with Fenwicks after one journey. Total waste of time and money, didn't even clean off very light dirt. If you tour, forget this product, IT WILL NOT WASH YOUR CARAVAN!!
Back to normal car shampoo now at half the price and better results.
I have always used Fenwick's Caravan Cleaner because car shampoo doesn't disolve the green algea that builds up on the awning rails and around the skylights etc. It's always worked for me and one bottle should give you around 40 washes if mixed in the correct quantity with cold water.

Absolutely correct.
Any half decent car shampoo does the trick. As for not removing green stuff I'm afraid it does if worked properly.
