Hi travelling down south on friday, and wondered if anyone could suggest the best way to M5 from Hartlepool

is it via A42 or best going across to m62

Hi Darby

A lot will depend on your time of travel and any unforseen incidents.

At peak times the M62 and M6 are renouned for its density of traffic and delays.

Your quickest route is via the M1/A42.

My caravan is stored in a location that allows me to use either the M6 or A42/M2 when using the M5. On balance the A42 route has caused me fewer delays than the M6 option.
