Hi all, I am looking to replace my 1995 Elddis Whirlwind Xli 2 berth 1000 Kg - 12' internal - 17' external, with something shorter and lighter, can anyone suggest or recommend a van that fits the bill please.

How much smaller do you want to go - is it the weight, length, height or width that is the issue? New or secondhand?

As mentioned above the Trigano Silver is smaller than your Elddis, and weighs in unladen at 640 or 740Kg depending on model. Again though they are not cheap, and are difficult to get hold of now with the exchange rates as they are.

The Sprintaway Lux is 703Kg with a max load of 1000Kg. IE a payload of 297Kg.

Even with the wife's clothes and the kitchen sink, we will never achieve that!!!!!
