New here, potentially picking a caravan up Saturday - 2017 Adria Adora Thames.
I’ve noticed this on the ceiling and a bit concerned as to what has caused it. The damp report from its service check done last August (in damp weather) reads 18 but has a comment saying no areas of concern. When viewed, it didn’t feel damp at all but the more I think about it, the more I think it can only be leaks. Any ideas?

Damp marks from roof leak. May of been sealed and 18 as still drying out. But those marks will not go. If you feel you will be for evermore thinking about them, and when you come to sell have problems, then walk away from the deal. There are plenty of good caravans about.
Hi and welcome.
Is it for sale private or dealer? If last service/hab check was in August last year, I would be tempted to get a pre purchase inspection done by an independant service firm to see what is going on now.
It does look like water damage at some point - any skylights or fittings on roof in close proximity?
I would get it checked over by some one of your choosing before parting with any money. If seller not happy with that, either take your chance or walk away and find another van.
It's an 8 year old caravan, probably lucky if it hasn't leaked in that time, it seems that most caravans are doomed to leak! If lucky, a leak is just a high damp reading with no visible signs, a quick fix to reseal can mean no lasting damage, but visible damp damage suggests a longer term problem not quickly detected or dealt with!
Firstly the staining is not going to go away, secondly, how long was it leaking for and damp is the critical question, and an unknown? Problem being there may be rot to structural members behind the panelling, no way of knowing that without removing panels to inspect, unless so bad, 'spongy' spots can be detected through the panels! Removing panels to inspect behind is a totally destructive process, requiring new panels to be put in place, so very expensive! - usually not viable if paying out of own pocket for a professional job.
The current damp reading of 18 is high in the 15-20 reading range which is the industries "...may require further investigation" range. Above 20 (which it may have been previously!) is classed as requiring immediate remedial work.
Think I'm with the others on 'Walk away'. You could be stepping into the unknown of just how deep is the money pit!
