I have purchased a bulldog wheel clamp but the wheel clamp is for a 14in wheel,
I did not know at the time that there are all various sizes, my quetion is will this be ok on my 13in wheel, it is a bit big but would it stop my van being taken. There is nothing wrong with the clamp it is as new, i purchased it of ebay so can not take it back. Would i be better of trying to sell it and get the 13in one or keep this one.
As you already have it, I would put it on and spend a few minutes trying to wriggle or pull it off. Give it your best try, and if you can't, cahnces are someone else can't.
Obviously not the "right" solution but if it doesn't come off, it's just as good as the other size.
If you can get it off I would still keep it and buy the right size for the other side having 2 clamp's fitted is a better deterrent than one even if one is just for "show". A caravan with 2 wheel clamps is less desirable to a would be thief than a van with none or just one.
i have this one and if it fits it is fine,mine is the QD44 =14 INCH and you needed the QD43 = 13 INCH there is no way it will come off without doing damage.the two plates at the bottom can be removed and adjusted.
