Hi Niall

We picked our GT60 540 up on friday

I have decided to go for a ryhno mover. As the enduro might not have fitted with the shock absorbers and on the other side of the wheel i found the spare wheel carrier might be in the way

I have been assured that the rhyno will fit with the shock absorbers, Also chose it due to the weight at 29KG, Price £675, Lifetime Warranty and it can cope with vans upto 1800 KG so ok if i ever buy another caravan (Long time off!!).

looking under the van there seems space in the current holed to pull the cables through so hopefully no drilling.

Simon

Good luck - and keep us posted with the install.

I am thinking about one for a Pageant Bretagne that will have the same needs in terms of shocks and spare wheel.

As i said there is space in the holes already there. So i cannot see where i would invalidate the warranty. When you look at most of the holes they are not sealed that well. If i where to drill a new hole (Not planning to!!) i would seal it a lot better than bailey do!.

I have also now bought a GSM wireless alarm, which i will fit. Work like this does not really faze me as i know i will spend my time and do a good job.

I will not do anything externally above floor level as i believe that would affect the warranty if it were to get damp.

I'm currently waiting for a response to my rhyno order so i'll hang on.

The alarm is http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/HomeLife-Security__W0QQ_armrsZ1 look for caravan alarm. I received it yesterday. You put a pay as you go simcard in it and if it detects movement by the pir or the door sensor is triggered it sounds an alarm and sends a text to your mobile. The sensors are wireless and battery powered so no wires to run. The alarm just needs to be connected to the battery in the van. I'll probably install next week sometime. We have it in storage, but for piece of mind i will know if anything happens to it straight away. We live eccles by the way.

Thanks

Simon

I have read about these in the c-club mag but i am sure they used a phone in the van on the one in the mag? only thinking about it the other day.

£107 bit dear when we have spent tons on the wheel lock and hitch lock may as well take the bloody wheels off much cheaper..

Suppose if i was putting it in storage i might think about one though!

Thanks Niall
