I am about to take the plunge and purchase my first caravan.

However I stumbled at the first hurdle with storage, I have called a few places and they are all full.

Does anyone have any details of any in my area ?

Thanks everyone, it seems there isnt much local to me. I hoped to get the van stored within 10 miles, this now seems unlikely. Its becoming such a pain its putting SWMBO off the idea of buying it.

I need to get a solution soon. Its a shame the space down the side of my house isnt just a bit wider, there is no way I am going to squeeze a 2100mm van into a 2200mm gap easily.

I know the area and I have never heard that the house mentioned is used as a caravan storage.There is a big storage area at Golden Castle Caravans opposite the Dowty Rotol factory - no idea if they have spaces free though.

I tried Golden castle, all full unfortunately.

I have now bitten the bullet and purchased the van complete with towcar anyway.

Its a Fleetwood Heritage 580, twin axle complete with a Jeep Cherokee 2.5crd.

Nothing like jumping in at the deep end eh, just got to find that elusive storage.

There's a couple of storage sites here in the Forest, is that too far away?
