to our beloved Elddis. We've decided to go for a bigger twin axle(Gazbags choice).I really loved my Elddis.Mum bought it for us 4 yrs ago and a couple of weeks later she died. It's been a hard decision,we have done so much with him.New upholstery, status arial everythig.I have just had an op on my knee for arthritus and need my other knee doing.I need the room to move with me sticks.
So if anybody is looking for a 5 berth have a look in the adds .He needs a good home with lots of love
Oh my dear lilyjoy, what a difficult decision which is made all the more painful for you with the emotional attachment to your late mum. However, you obviously now need to change from your beloved Elldis so that you can still enjoy your "freedom to roam" and have the benefit of the extra room to move with your sticks for the time being. Wishing you a speedy recovery and many years of happy holidays in your new van and, I am sure, your existing van will be loved by a new family very shortly.
Went to look at a Sterling Elite Wayfarer yesterday.Really liked it.It's got everything we need and at the right price.Got the job of emptying my baby now. It's very sad.Kind of took the shine off the new van.Silly I know.Does any body else get emotionally attatched to their vans? The new one will be great and we will be able to use CL type sites and do some rallies because of having a better shower room. But it's still upsetting me
We was attached to our Cristall, it was our first van and I fitted so much stuff to it, it became my own. However, the new van will also be great fun and more memories too. When I took my Cristall in I had a lump in my throat, but the excitement of a new one takes the sting off.
Memories remain, and they wont go regardless of the new van.
Well it looks like my baby is sold.A really nice family came over yesterday to look at her. They spent about an 1hr and 1/2 here.I just left them to it.They really liked her. They rand this morning to say they wanted her and that were going to collect her on Tues.So that;s it.I asked the lady to take really good care of her and I think she will.I've also given then this website info.I know you will all be nice to them.
