Personally unless it was mega cheap I would spend a bit more and go for a decent one like powrtouch, They come with a 5 yrs parts & labour warranty and they will come out where ever you are in the country to repair it, When we got ours last year they price matched a comparable product and gave us 6 months at 0% to pay for it, It was more than some of the cheaper ones we looked at but we are really pleased with it and its good to know that if we get a problem they will come and fix it, If you need a local fitter let me know as I got the card from the guy that did ours and he is based in North Hampshire so will cover your area. He is independent but does work for powrtouch, etc.
It looks to have a good spec certainly worth investigating further,if it will push 1500 Kg up a kerb then that's more than my powertouch will do!

Hi Steve, It looks not to bad for the price and fitting, and with the remote control start, the guarantee is only two years (others have 5 year guarantees), they do not cover the whole of the country as other mover manufacturers do, but that may be because they are still a small business at the moment, if your are thinking of buying one, check to see if they have a website and if there are any reviews left by the customers who have bought the mover, the mover may be of very good quality or better than some of the other movers, but I would have thought if mover is of the best quality then it would have a longer guarantee, it may do as it says on the tin and be a very good buy, only you can decide after weighing up all the facts, hope you can get some answers from the caravaners that have bought one, good luck

Hi, good link for the Magic Mover michael, noticed at the bottom of their advert, (Safe and Reliable) that it will not move if mover left engaged, and you try to pull away, (if I am reading it correctly, and if indeed that is what they are saying), then that makes it look a good price for the purchase, I have heard on a few occasions movers destroyed by towing when accidentally left engaged, assuming that not all movers have the auto stop facility, (don’t think mine has nothing in the manual), then that is a big plus for this mover, even with the £80 warranty upgrade. If I was in the market for a new mover, and after phone conformation, then I would be giving this mover very serious consideration as a replacement.

The MagicMover appears to be identical to the Riversway Leisure Easi Move. This comes with a 5 year warranty if you have it fitted. I have one on my van an am very happy with it. Towsure also have their own version of the mover. I believe it is made by Unipart
We have an enduro , and cannot fault it, it really good, moves our caravan with ease, we did have are doubts when we were looking as it wasn't as expensive as the others, but we've had it over a year and use it a lot and it's a good mover.

The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.
We are going to have the Al-ko Mamut mover fitted to our new van before taking delivery. We like the way it is fitted high up on the chassis, and no cross bar between the two units to lower ground clearance.
No complaints about our current Powrtouch, but we did meet up with one fellow on a campsite, working on his mover. He had clipped the protruding operating spigot on a high kerb and it had been forced the unit onto the wheel.
Hi,Had one of the magic movers fitted at the end of the season last year by Bolsever caravans ,have only used it twice, very pleased so far,but got nothing to compare it with apart from the spec compared with others, which this one seemed to come out tops and at least £100 cheaper, when i was looking althrough it stated 5 years warrenty on some, this was parts only after 2 years ,also if i remember right you can still extended the warrenty on this one for the further 3 years within the first two years if you wish,if i had to pick bones out of it i dont like the colour Blue on the outside fascia, prehaps its like that for a reason.
Either one you choose it makes moving the van a dream.
I have promised my 7 year old grandson a go with it this year,as long as he dont expect it to be like his scalectric.
