Thanks again for all the advice/tips. We collect our new babe in 2 weeks - can't wait now!

Mandk - its a 2007 and we paid 10,160 so to be fair M.Jordan were very competitive pricewise. Tried a few other dealers to see if they could beat that and no-one could. Also it will will handy to have our servicing done fairly local, as with our Avondale we had to tow to Weston Super Mare every year for anual service!

Glad you all enjoy your Bailey 550/6's....I hope we enjoy ours just as much!!

G xx

Hope all goes well Gaynor, where in Surrey are you ? Do you plan to store the van or do you have room at home ? Just asking as I know of storage near Tadworth if your interested...Enjoy your Bailey

We bought our Avondale from Forest of Dean Caravans and as it's sited in Pembrokeshire it would've been quite a trek to take it for servicing.  I have now had it from the horse's mouth (Avondale and Blazers in Swansea), that you can get it serviced anywhere, as long as they are approved (same as a car).  For me that means either towing it to Cross Hands, which isn't very far, or getting a mobile service engineer out (which is preferable, as its sited).

Just wanted to clear that up, I've read a few threads on the subject with differing opinions.
