Ours gets hung from the rafters of the garage, or draped over the rotary washing line it one of us is at home and the weather is dry.  They dry out surprisingly quickly - just find somewhere to hang/drape it, and keep turning it over and round until it's properly dry.  It's worth it for the extra space on holiday, honestly!

I have a series of washing lines in the garage and when I arrive home with a wet awning I hang it over them until it dries.

I've used the garden fence (it's a tall one).

Most modern caravan awnings aren't made of cotton, they are synthetic acrylic or polyester. I left mine wet in the bag for 6 months after New Year (forgot about it) - got it out and laid it in the sun and it soon dried off - brushed off a few marks on the skirt and it was as good as new - well, as good as it was before, anyway.

attaching a rail to the house or shed, thats brilliant - if we put it over the patio door it would make a great gazebo too....lol

Have an awning rail at the back of the house too!

Fixed a length of white plastic rail & 2 clips for the awning poles to the side of the garage which juts out in the back garden.

Great for parties BBQs etc!
