Just to butt in here we used caravanstuff 4u  and they were very prompt in fact the item came next day , we later went to Hanley Swan where they are and I can honestly say they  were more than helpful and really friendy guys, as for rock pegs, we got ours from towsure, about £20 in a case you can buy them loose but it''s more economical to buy them in the set and  they are screw type,  you use a socket and a battery drill & they go in extremely easy on hardstanding and come out same way   - by the way as Alan said above there is another site with a similar name not exactly sure what it is though without going on ebay ???

Hippy Chick, lets be careful if you decide to use Caravanstuff4u! they are rapidly building up a terrible reputation ( and feedback) on Ebay for taking your money then completly ignoring you!

How the dickens did I miss this thread's latest posts when I was on 'ere yesterday? Ah ha! Probably coz me peepers were more closed than open for most of the day..bl**dy chronic fatigoo!

Anyhoo, I certainly hadn't been aware of any probs with Caravanstuff4u malarky coz I'd only seen the site through a link on a previous ukcs thread about the same peggy thingies.

Course, it looks from later posts after this one of yours, that there's some conffudleness about what's what anyhoo???? I'm certainly confuddled. Not difficult for me

I'm just hoping that hubby's bl**dy kit bag jobby DOES turn up somewhere in that tip we call.....the garage, then we won't have to worry about renewing 'em

I have a lump hammer for rockpegs on hard standing
I use a claw hammer - the claw is good for getting them out again.

I have a collection of "rock pegs" which we bought at Sandy Balls years ago because their ground is so damn hard. Most of them are bent now. Where they get the name "rock" pegs I'll never know. And the little plastic protrusion at the top of the peg, presumably there to help with getting the thing out, soon snaps off. But I suppose they'll have to do if we ever put up the awning on a hard standing, as there's nothing else available on the market as far as I'm aware.
