Caravaning can be as simple as:-

Hitch up
Drive to site
Un-hitch
Level
Plug it in

After that you can add as many (or as few) bits and bobs as you like

You don't even need to plug it in, if you're on a site without a hook-up.  So that's four steps only - much less than putting up a tent (especially in the rain and wind......////////////\\\\\\\\\\\\\\!!!!!

Hi There,

We too were campers and have just got our first van, initially we went to look to spend about £3,000. Within 2 hours of being at a dealer we put a deposit on a brand new Elddis Avante 556

We have never looked back, off this Monday for a week to the Cotswolds. We now have awning, gas bbq, aerial etc. Like home from home.

Get one you won't look back

Having tented, trailer tented then caravanning - caravanning is easy trust me..

Best thing we ever ever did! I love all types of camping, and tents have that fun rawness but you are not beholden to the weather in a van and thats why we got one as our little un was even littler when we started. Now with twins on the way we can plan future trips as soon as they are ready rather than worry about heating and wind and stuff..
