ahh,rules,rules,rules.just got back from northern spain,lovely campsite,toilet block seemed to have a cleaner in there all day,she just seemed to work around all the men with no problem,sometimes in this country we just need to chill out,give someone a uniform and it goes to their head.

I agree Gary!  Cambrils Park has a resident cleaner in each block, and they keep the facilities immaculate (and no problems throwing you out because it's time to clean the bit you're s.itting on)!  There's a similar thread about 'wrong side doors' and jockey wheels all in a row - which is another daft 'jobsworth' rule!!!

I'm new to camping and caravanning - only a year since our first trip, but have to say that site owners/managers seem to be a breed to themselves with more rules that you can shake a stick at! They seem to be the only service provider that really does think that the needs of the customer should only be fulfilled providing its of no inconvenience to themselves!
Not that I havn't been to some fab sites - I have.....but always get the feeling that I wouldn't like to get on the wrong side of the staff!!

Phew! I thought it was just me that didn't feel "comfortable" in public loos.    I feel "normal" now.

Personally I would have told him to come back later. After all, once you have started you can't stop can you!
