Maybe a daft question but was on the M6 going to Malvern on Friday morning for the Bank Holiday. Saw an outfit in the fatest lane overtaking. Was this legal or not?

I tow a trailer with a motorcycle and applies to us as well. What's more wouldn't even try it.

it must be an M6 thing, several caravans in tow passed me at over 80 mph this weekend- MAD , wouldn,t do it if they saw one turn like we did today, or would they ?
Nope, I can vouch for the A303, A30 and M5 too Big Brian! I think it is a nationwide thing sadly.
