I am so glad that hubby can turn his hand to anything.

We had 2 towbars twin electrics .... one for Astra and one for Kia Sedona total cost inc vat £225 Hubby fitted Astra in 2 hours no problem.... yet to do the Sedona but should only take an hour more. Least hubby will be satisfied that it is fitted properly.

He is now thinking of changing his career to fitting towbars and refitting caravans after all that he has done in just a week LOL

We paid £383 (inc VAT ) for our Pathfinder towbar to be fitted...GULP!

I wanted the Wesfalia removeable swan neck, and 13 pins electrics.

We opted for removable, as grease and knocked knees whilst loading the car in everyday use is not desirable!

I would have fitted it myself (as i have done with all my other towbars), but nobody does a "plug-in" 13 pin kit for the Pathfinder yet. (just watch somebody release one now!)

Since the car is fairly new, i didn't fancy chopping any wires and voiding the warranty.

I reasoned that the towbar is £190 delivered (from towequipe), and a normal 13 pin plug-in kit costs around £80/90. (or £170 for my X-type!)

So £100 for fitting and wiring wasn't too bad.

I must say the local place did a great job, and nothing is visible when it's removed.
