So far we've managed very well but we DO have EHU on most sites & have just got a genny so don't rely wholly on solar power. I was just sharing our experience of panels.
As for cooking, we certainly don't starve but we're very frugal with electricity - we've a microwave and a small elec cooker if we need it. We also make full use of a pressure cooker & looking for a Remoska as we speak...!
