Hi Katie!  We've just sold our lovely little Monza 450s

was yours the one on Ebay with the bed permanent at back..well side..with a cute kiddies bedspread on?? and you had a sunncamp awning with it aswell??

we fancied that one but we were too far away :(

Hi HappyCamper2004!  Sadly not.  It was on eBay though!   It was only on for a day and a half before it was sold for an absolute bargain of £1100 on a best offer.  The family collected today and were absolutely lovely which was great.  We bought a 2003 Avondale Rialto for a superb price so didn't mind letting the Monza go a bit cheaper (felt sorry for our neighbours looking at the side of not one but TWO caravans!).  I know quite a few folks have concerns about buying Avondales with the company going bust but it's allowed us to buy a superb, newer caravan for a bargain price - and without sounding as though we're trading in other people's misery the credit crunch and pre-christmas/out of season prices have helped us afford something which 5 months ago was completely beyond our reach. Am I the only person in the UK right now to have found an upside to the credit crunch?  Quick, email Gordon Brown!

Good luck with your search Katie. Take your time and keep looking. I searched for ages before I got mine. Keep us informed. Cheers Mick.

Have you thought about Avondale Perles maybe early 90's there was a five berth model double at front and double at back with a bunk over they were basic vans but ideal for what u want and they are light to tow

Katie, you will know me from the FC side of this forum and like you I am thinking of going back to a caravan.  From past experience the Avondale Pearle range is light enough for your car.  Love the FC but back playing up to much now and everytime I put the FC up I am getting headaches so think I will be changing over next year as well.
