We got a 15 inch from Argos which had a swivel base and was great, gave it to my son and bought one with built in freeview from Aldi which is crap, it has no swivel base and when you are at the side or lying in bed watching it, it is just shadows you can see. We got it ages ago and just left it in the van before finally using it or would have taken it back. Very disappointed and cant afford to be buying another one now!!

Unless you specifically want to run it from the caravan battery, I would go for a small standard household TV with a DVD and freeview integrated. We bought ours last summer while holidaying in Cornwall. Tesco, Redruth, Toshiba 21" with all of the above: £180 - I thought this was a good deal, and the TV works brilliantly - use it as a second TV at home.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
