As for accelerating out of a snake, Yes you can sometimes but you need nerves of steel or stupidity. They proved this can work when they tried for the caravan speed record using a rally car. Caravan started to snake yet the driver kept his foot down and the outfit sorted itself.

i would love the up urs clarkson one!! in the impossible hope that one day clarkson is stuck up my arse in a jam on the motor way with no where to go and the only thing he can see is that sticker in the back end of my caravan!! thtat would be funny
