What i don't understand is why the caravan club and caravan and camping club don't come together and produce one with all the sites in and CL and C'S' then everyyear you could just update with any new ones etc.,

We'd buy one, We only really use our sat nav now when away although I always read the map aswell we tend to use the sat nav to get back to site if we've been out.

The Snooper has got all the campsites on.

Caravan Club and Camping & Caravan Club
Snooper Ventura now also comes with complete lists of Caravan Club campsites, Caravan Club Approved campsites plus Camping & Caravan Club campsites - all preloaded so that you can search and navigate straight to them at the touch of a button!

Ventura of course comes with the option of Snooper's award winning GPS speed camera location technology. Our new AURA speed camera database now provides protection around the World. So wherever your destination you will always be protected.

Car navigation.
Although Ventura has clearly been designed to navigate caravans and mobile homes on safe and legal roads it also incorporates a car setting. Simply switch Ventura to car mode and it will navigate you on the most effective routes for your car instead!

I've had one of these for over a year, they are overpriced by £300 imo.try using it in Yorkshire trys to take you up sutton bank which has been caravan prohibited for years.have spoke to snooper several times, still waiting for map update to fix this shocking issue.first contacted them this time last year about sutton bank.also general routing is very poor compared to Tomtom. You realise this when using the unit locally seems to want to take you the long way round every time.

I have to say these problems haven't happened to us. I hated Tom Tom so sold it.I did have a Navigon which tried to take us down the narrowest of lanes!!!!! Thet went too.

Which Snooper version do you have?

When you plug your TomTom into a computer and connect to TomTom Home via the internet, you can install a free data file to the TomTom showing all current CL's.
