fees on ebay are £8 to list the item and if it sells then its a £19 final value fee no matter how much it sells for.im hazarding a guess you looked at the fees prior to the ad going live and worked out how much it would have been on a usual auction format had it sold at the price you wanted for it(if that makes sense)

I did the advert for a BIN and just before I clicked to go live it states how much it will cost in final fees. It wasn't in a special catagory, just the normal one. Below are the rules for normal catagories copied from ebay.
£600.00 or more
9.9% of the initial £49.99 (£4.95) + 5.9% of the initial £50.00 - £599.99 (£32.45) + 1.9% of the remaining balance of the final selling price.
On a £4,500 listing it works out at £111.50 for the final fees. If there was a special catagory I didn't find it. So used the classified at about £15 to list and nothing else to pay.

well thats surprising i sold my van and it cost as i said 27 quid all in as its listed in the car,caravans campers etc category.everything in there has the same price,id question ebay about that tbh
