Devonfletch, I would hate to rain on your parade, but please be careful with E&L. At first sight everything looks fine, but I have heard and read horror stories when a claim is made. Insurance is one of those things that generally speaking you get what you pay for, which is why although a bit more expensive than others, the CC policies are excellent. Even dealers with no vested interest in who you insure with rate them very highly. Love them or hate them, the CC know the caravan business and the policies are geared to excellent cover. NFU are also thought of very highly indeed. Not cheap but I say again, you get what you pay for in most cases.

I would agree. There are quite a few comments on many forums regarding them.------------- Jennifer

Forgot to answer that bit.....
No problem, especially if you go with one of the clubs.
We are with the CC. £325 for £22k of cover in total.

We pay extra for storage, but have never had a problem on sites. We use a lot of CLs. We always ring a new site before booking. If the people don't sound nice, we don't go. There are plenty more in the book. We always mention it's a twin, just in case of any access problems, but so far we haven't had any difficulty.

I always ask CL/CS owners if there are any access issues, as we have a twin axle, or better still, look on Google!
Never been refused on any site, anywhere!

We ask too but have found that some of them are somewhat economical with the truth!

The bigger problem is now that we have wider and longer vans some of the gates are very tricky to get in and out of
