Because a little research before you even thought of buying a caravan wouldn't have gone a miss. The are pages and pages of FREE information on the internet. I'm sure even the very good natured and friendly guys and girls on this site cringed when they read your post. Everyone on here offer there opinions and advice freely and without question, but i'm sorry I think you were just taking the Mick.
Did you check the van wasn't still on HP or stolen, were there no instuctions for the heaters etc, as the person you bought it from knew diddly squat about it were you not suspicious!
I dont know whats got you so narky adybaby but just to put you straight on a few points-
I appologise if the questions were in your humble opinon cringe worthy, unlike your good self, I didnt automaticaly know everything about a caravan and / or how it worked.
Also, I wasnt taking the mick, it is genuine questions asked out of ignorance and yes i could troll the net for answers but since(before you started your tupance worth ) ive been on here its been a great and friendly source of information and id rather have the opinions of people who have had a van and know a bit and may be able to put me straight on a few points.
lastly, the person i bought it off was the wife who had just split from her hubby and wanted shot of the van, we bought it on a whim to upgrade from a tent and for the price figured we couldnt really go wrong.Ther person didnt have any manuals etc and since its about 20 years old , no I dont find that suspicous at all to be fair. and for the price of the van , it wasnt worth the price of a hpi check.
Given that all thats said and done, If you havent got anything constructive to say, Id much prefer you kept your sarcastic and less that helpfull posts to your self.
Well said Tinkerbell, we were complete novices ourselves when we started out 2 years ago and asked all sorts of questions, please don't let one person put you off here, we are generally a friendly lot!
