....and has anyone experience or knowledge of the VuQube? Expensive, but comparable with a roof fixed dish. Any comments welcome.

got the BQ kit ... works a treat ... all you need is a pole / stand
£70 for the HD kit and £40 for the non HD

takes about 10 minutes to set up once you've done it once or twice
i'm on a seasonal pitch and have fitted 15 for other clients on the siteso 10 minutes and they have all available free sat channels ;)

many had the mini dish and couldnt get the signal / quality strength required
signal strength - 20 and over
quality strength - 40 and over

If I am reading it correctly, the Satgear offering does not appear to include a decoder.
So you need a cheap unit, an example at £50 is:

Personally I would go for a proper "Freesat" TM decoder simply because this gives a weeks EPG, Electronic Program Guide. A big asset when out in the sticks away from papers etc.
