Yes like you we had a tent, then a trailer tent, then we got our Crusader FC last year, we got cold in May when we was out in it for a week, and decided that we needed to get a caravan. So we started looking and then found the one we wanted.
It was sad to see the crusader go at the weekend, but also very excited about the new caravan.
We found it hard work when going away for weekends, and spent more time putting up and down then relaxing so looking forward to a easier time.
We have just got a new full awning to go with it, so hopefully will be as easy as the Crusader's awning got that off to a fine art, so fingers crossed this will be as easy for us.
We have a motor mover on our new caravan too as we think that it will be too hard to pull for me and my sister so we decided that we would make it easy for ourselves with a mover no problems then with reversing for sure.
Thanks we will enjoy it, and hope you are enjoying yours too.

Glad to help you!  storage in your van is the dbs compared to your folded camper hehe. Only bit of bad news is towing is a bit slower and a bit more tricky but well worht the extra effort for the extra convenience! Like your FC & LOVE your van xxx

Hi, congrats on your new van,in your excitement you may forget to ask dealer a few things, So make a list of all things you have to ask,and remember to put your wheel cover on it too, see you said, you have moter mover fitted they're great things, word of caution...Do Not Have mover Switched ON when attached to AC hook up, have had my mover control box blown because of this, could check with makers of mover to be on safe side.enjoy your new van.

Thank you all for your lovely comments, well we picked the new Olympus 504 up and well what a lovely caravan, the motor mover was so easy to use, and i cant wait to play with it again when we get to the site in 2 weeks. Everything is so clean, fresh and new, and everything is working in it. Have packed nearly everything in to it, and now waiting for 31 July to go to Exeter cant wait.
We have our awning, already so going to be a lovely week away.
Thank you everyone who helped me with what to look for.
Happy Caravanning
Melissa
