dont you have caravanning reletives that can go along with you a baby how wonderful.
all the more reason to keep a caravan. we had a tent when i was expecting and when he was just 6 months old he came camping in a tent. my parents did pitch next to us with their caravan though. just in case.
it was fine and there was no disposable nappies in those days.

I agree. Our 3rd was a surprise and took some getting used to but I woudn't have it any other way now. But with a large family and the pressure to take holidays during school hols and NOT in term time, we realised that camping and caravanning holidays were the future for us. I'm glad we did now as the kids love them.
Congratulations. It really is something to celebrate!
Congratulations on your news. I think you seem a bit shell shocked but you will get used to it. Hope she keeps well and I'm sure you will still be able to get away. At least by next year will the new hospital not be open.
Congrats to you both.
Gosh I really feel I have to say something to you. I have been camping and caravanning all my life as long as I can remember. We started in a trailer tent and graduated to a caravan when my brother and I were about 10ish. Then when i got independent AT 18, my friend and I went camping loads of times and had a ball. Then I got older, wiser and more affluent and hey guess what, I took my huuby camping and converted him as he had never experienced it before. We kept our tent while I was pregnant with number one and then took our first child campiong until he was 18mths old. It was then that we invested in our caravan. The best thing we did, our baby couldn't escape anymore! We have since gone on to have two more and still have our caravan. I wouldn't be without it. Plese don't give up on it. It is the best way to give your children holidays. It is amazing. Please keep yours.
