Quick update! still not away yet..but got hold of an auto electrics place at 8:00 this morning and latest update is we'll have the car back at midday...which I'll be happy with.

As an aside anyone driven through and out of Ashbourne before on the Buxton road. Father in law reckons there is an alternative to avoid the hill but I can't see it.

Hi Rossco we are going to Callow Top in July whats the steep descent to the campsite like? I noticed it when we drove past on the way to Rivendale last year is it a tricky manoeuvre or pretty straightforward
