I have the e-go mover and that just has a simple screw operation I use a battery drill

and it takes no effort at all and you can vary the amount of pressure put on the tyres

less for flat ground more for up hill

Thanks bobajob59.

I assume the powrbar is essential otherwise only one wheel would be turned? I wonder why it isnt included as standard with the mover?

It is only "essential" if you can't access both sides to set each roller; so a cheaper price for those that can and are prepared to do this.
Perhaps Ive misunderstood how the unit works. I assumed the mover motor was located on just one wheel, with a bar going accross to the other wheel, which would be engaged/disengaged when turning? Are you saying there is a motor on each wheel?

You've got it. For the powrtouch HD there is a motor and roller on each wheel. With standard manual actuation you engage the motor and roller on each side with a wheel brace / leaver. The powrbar option is a bad the width of the van that connects the roller and motor assemblies. You can then engage both rollers from either side of the van.

Thanks for that clarification bobajob59, it all makes sense now.

I think the Powrtouch HD with powrbar will be just what I need. I just need to get a few quotes from a few suppliers/fitters as I understand Powrtouch do pricematch. Theres lots of internet companies about, but its hard to know if they are trustworthy?

Thanks again
