The seller obviously hoped you either didn't know what you were doing or hoped you liked the caravan so much you would buy it anyway - what a waste of time and effort.
We went to look at a caravan that was damp free. I asked "have you actually checked for damp". "Yes I have checked everywhere - if you find any damp I will pay your petrol costs". Guess what? We found damp in both seating lockers! And no, he didn't pay our petrol costs! Muppet
