You seem to have a lot of replies ,but I will stil add mine.we liken the cc sites to 5* and the ccc to 4* .Both are very good.sometimes they are sited right next to each other.join both and then decide which if either is better for yourselves,or look on the map where you want to go to and see who has the most sites there to chose from.I must conclude that after 8 or 9 years of belonging to both this is the first time I am not renewing my ccc membership.I can always re join if I want to use one of their sites.

Thanks for all your informative replies. The benefits we are looking from a club is cheaper rates for clean sites and hopefully discounts on caravan insurance ect.

So far its looking like most people prefer CC.

If that is what you're after and it's just one Club you want to join, then you're right - go for the CC to start with. Plenty of Club sites (and more than the C&CC has) in a variety of locations, and on balance the sites do tend to be on average just a bit "nicer". But as a memeber of both Clubs I should add that I have nothing against the C&CC and many of their sites are favourites of ours. The only thing I will say about CC sites which may or may not suit you - more of them do tend to have a bit more of a tidy regimented feel to them (not all by all means) than the C&CC sites. I wouldn't worry too much about which Club to join - you'll enjoy either if you're going to enjoy being in one of them anyway.

Noone can answer for you however passionatly they may prefer one club to the other - its working out what you want from a club and where you want to camp. opinions on here will be just that so use as guidance

We chose to join the CC becuase of the large selection of CL's which are generally well priced. Lots of other facilities via the club as others say

If we see a site we want to go to and its a C&CC we can join on site if need be
