Seems the design is slightly different, our one has a clear front panel from one corner to the door, half height as above, so the clear bit is slightly smaller now. Also, ours has a "leg" attached to the side rafter, that sits almost against the van
We paid just over £500 in 2008, I see they are almost £750 now for the 3.6 metre size. That size comes with one centre rafter.
We don't caravan over winter (only March to November), so we don't have any other awning, and on our recent trip abroad have just used the canopy as it was so warm. As you said, the canopy is very easy and quick to roll up in windy weather!
Sorry to hear about your mis-fortune. I've literally just posted about this awning. Ours withstood everything thrown at it, in last week's downpour & gales. The only problem we had was with the roof poles. Shorter ones are required for Bailey's with Alu-tech body sides, due to the awning rail.
We were looking at the Fiamma & Caravanstore Awnings and plumped for the Quest Rolli however we are waiting for delivery because Quest informed us that they are in the process of developing poles for the Alu-Tech Bodyshells when I last spoke to Quest beginning of June they were hopefull that the poles for the Alu-Tech vans would be available Mid June....out of interest has anyone else with the Quest Rolli now got the poles to fit Alu-Tech vans....

Yeah I hope it was a one off but not so sure, I only know of 3 people having them and all of us have had problems, I think they rushed the design, the roof poles on ours were a nightmare to tension too, my husband its a strong guy and he really struggled to click it into place and in even a slight breeze it was difficult holding the crossbar up above my head while he fitted the legs and the pins bent slightly on the first attempt, it would only be a matter of time before they snapped off, there's no way we could have put the canopy up in anything other than a mild breeze.
We're currently in the Lakes and last night used our new 'normal' awning in torrential rain and gale force winds and it was great, not a single peg out, no puddles, no leaks and most importantly no bent poles or collapse, we're so glad we tried the Rolli out on a weekend and didn't wait and use it here.
I hope you have more luck with yours now you've got the correct poles, they're cracking looking awnings.
Yes, had two on each side you can see the reflection of one of them on picture 2 where it's still attached to the pin on the corner, the first photo when it's up was taken on our first trip with it when it was only up for a few hours just to try and we didn't guy it because we weren't leaving it up.
It says in the brochure that once it's guyed it's stronger than a normal awning which was one of the reasons we chose it but it clearly wasn't :(
Hi, I have just had the same problem with my rolli awning, asking for a refund.
It was fully tensioned and during the night we had a storm and the roof collapsed just missing my son who was sleeping in the awning.
The roof bars buckled and one front corner post bent.
The front was set at its lowest setting so there was a good pitch on the roof to shed the water off but to no avail.
A complete disaster we are going back to the normal awning in the future.
It has even damaged the caravan window.

My Rolli awning collapsed exactly the same as yours last weekend but did not have the sides up. Caused a lot of damage to my Caravan big dent in the side where the pole bent with the weight of water that had pounded on the roof. Will contact supplier today see if they can help as you can not contact quest direct.
My 3.6 Rolli collapsed in the Summer without warning due to it holding water. It has leaked at the sides since the day it was bought 2 years ago and now it leaks in the front middle, coming in through the roof somehow. Worst of all, when I took it off to clean the van there are three distinct dints in the van side where the poles have been. I bought this from Catterick Caravans in 2012 and took the roll up part back to them today (they suggested claiming off my van insurance). I have tried Quest who washed their hands of it saying I had to take it up with the dealer! Has anyone tried trading standards? I will post any outcome on here. We have had a couple of problems with our Quest Rolli on 2 different caravans.
We originally purchased our Quest Rolli to go on a Pegasus, so firstly we had trouble tensioning the poles, until we went to a Show and spoke to Quest directly who told us about the special poles for a pegasus, we then purchased new poles, which did make tensioning easier. Last year we decided to sell our Pegasus, and when we took the Quest Rolli off, there were several dents along the side of the Caravan. We wanted to trade in the caravan so had to tell the dealer about the unexpected dents, this cost us £500 of our trade in value.
We have used the quest Rolli on our new caravan, Eldis Super scirrocco, and put measures in place to stop denting, guess what small dents have appeared agiain. We contacted quest who told us it was to do with tensioning the poles! We are thinking of getting rid of the awning. But would love to hear how you got on with trading standards.
