I am very happy with my dish assembly with its integrated tripod. Nice and stable so nearly impossible to tumble against the van or car. Folds flat and goes in a holdall. It is based on a Triax 54 cm dish and with our Humax decoder works down in the French Pyrenees.
I have a domestic sky dish that was £15, this included dish, quad LNB, mounting bolts, and a 10m cable - I've combined this with a cheap disco lighting stand that was about £12 from Maplin - old Sky box that was £5.00 and all sorted.
I have my Sky box under one of the front seats, wired in via long scart lead to my tv, which uses a magic eye to control it.
The sky aerial cable is routed out via my battery box and works brilliantly!

Can you record one channel and watch another with this set up then?
No, its a very basic sky box, without a HDD in (ie not Sky Plus).
But if I had a Sky "Plus" box, and an extra lead (record one and watch one needs two leads from the dish) AND also pay Sky £10 a month, then I could...!
I leave the recording to my HD box at home and catch up when I get back.
I brought a Rockdale folding dish yesterday from maplins,rather heavy and comes in a big case, which I don't intend to use, no lnb but you can pick them up cheap enough, but seems very sturdy and was only £39.99 , got mine from Barnstaple store
We have the Rockdale folding dish from Maplins for £39.99, (most places sell them for £129.99), and it is good piece of kit. Gives 100% on both signal and quality strength.
You need a length of cable as well as an LNB.
Whether to use the case or not is a personal choice, but I like the fact that the receiver, cable etc. all fit inside the case with the folding dish and tripod.
