as far as im aware Bailey dropped the re-torqueing at year 3 service a few months ago meaning its same price to service as any other van
as for the production line , we would be in bother working like that at our place . housekeeping is for the whole shift not just the end of shift and if that means the manager putting his overalls on and lending a hand then so be it . 3 jobs in 24 years and they all provided uniform, and the range off ppe in current job is fantastic.
Bailey did offer a 10 year Gtee on the bodyshell of their Alu-tech range, but then Bailey looked at it as a way of getting extra cash out of the punters. Now if you buy a Bailey it costs extra to have the extra piece of mind.
The only criticism I would have of the alutech design is with regard to the awning channel. At the back of the van, the corner is very tight and ours is a bit clogged with sealant. For us it is not a problem as we use a porch awning and feed it in from the front, but if you were to use a full awning then you might need to clean the channel out, and even then it might be an efford feeding the awning around the last corner.
