Just checked my manual. To switch on the remote, press the 'on' button twice within one second to switch on and stay on. I had probs with this the first time I used mine, forgot it wasn't like an ordinary remote for the tv, etc, which you only press once!
So that's on-on, quickly, like a double click on a mouse!
The other reason might be that the remote needs new batteries.
Thanks. I had pressed it twice and the mover did move slightly then the remote beeped and the led continually flashed in the remote and everything stopped. I then had to power down andstart again. Will be trying again tomorrow.

We 'ordered' a move from Rhyno at the show - the Plus at £649 fitted.
I thought it very strange that not even a deposit was required nor did they complete an order form.
When I got home and googled it, I found this thread and am now concerned whether I should cancel and go with the PowrTouch Evo - albeit £250 more expensive.
Would welcome thoughts about buying the Rhyno now ...
I phoned them to order mine, I didn't pay them 'till it had arrived (it was a company purchase though)nor complete an order form. I fitted it myself and I'm quite happy with ease of fit and use
