We've just come back from our first week of the year. It was great. Make sure you've got an orange gas bottle set up and not the blue.

Nothing crazy about winter camping. Your system should be able to heat the van to the point that it is too hot even just on convection. Use gas and electric to warm it up quickly at the start then switch off the gas to maintain on the Lecky alone.
