thanks everyone we have the battery on charge in the house and have forum a fuse which we have changed for the battery charging on the unit .Not sure about the wires yet have not checked them yet not sure where its best to start looking but lest we are on the right road thanks everyone :) x
Hi, dont always blame the battery sometimes its the terminals. We had a similar problem a few yrs back with our battery, being intermittent with the mover.
What we found was that the clip on battery terminals we corrodes and had become loser on the battery terminals, and thus not making a good contact for the amount of current the mover was using.
New battey connectors and a clean up on the battery terminals resolved the problem. Now we just keep a check on these.
Hope this helps
Thanks everyone will let you know how we get on but we taking the c tek charger as a back up and charging it the night before we come home fingers crossed
I use a Ctek, plug it into a three pin socket run it through a household extension lead and through a hole into the locker where the l. Battery lives, there to connect to the battery terminals via the o ring connector. It takes more than one overnighter to charge my battery fully though.
