after an extensive search of UK awnings available we decided to go Dutch and bought UNICO from BAX in Holland. Isabella quality but easier to put up. No guy lines or storm straps requred. Storm proof (tested many times by us, especially during the last 4 weeks in France with torrential rain and gail force winds.)
We bought ex demo full awning and New porch. Yes they are expensive, but worth it if you struggle to put up traditional frame awnings. No regrets after 4 years
Thanks for all your info everyone, we have bought one today, we bought a ventura large porch awning as this seems a suitable size for just the two of us and the dog. Now if you could all tuen up and help us erect it too, that would be smashing! lol
We' e got three, each for different types of Hols at different times of year. My garage is filled with the blinkin things. One of them is an Isabella and although I would say it is amongst the best I've seen I wouldn't say it was on it own in it's category.
I've seen others out there produced just as well at much less money. However, we errect it with a pride.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
