Two and a bit years ago I changed over from smoking to vaping and all the money we have spent on the van, cost, motor mover etc, have all come from my smoke savings, so it really cost us nothing.

The van's name is the Vapemobile!

By the by, the plastic piping that is used in Vans is the 32mm stuff. It just presses together with O-rings. No glue or screw threading. Usually comes in white.

I ordered a new e-cig on Sat. Cost £198.
It will hopefully arrive by Tuesday.
It will then be "under house arrest" and I will use my cheaper ones (the between £40 & £70) for out and about.

On first glance you would say £198 is expensive, but when you think about it.. for me, i probably smoke that in cigs a month, so not that expensive if it helps you stop

After reaching 4 decades, im at the point now, of either stopping or just sod it and carrying on, even though i know it makes me feel like poo.. doesnt help that i drive for a living, being stressed out .. maybe i should try harder this time round, would pay for a lot of trips out if i did

Well that is that way I look at it.

Two years ago I was smoking 40 a day and that was costing me over 5000 quid a year. Then I read about e-cigs on here and within a month I was 100% vaping.

After a year when I spent almost £2000 on e-cigs I could still afford to buy my COC.
Second year saw me spending a lot less on e-cigs and the juice because by that time I was making my own, but the savings paid for some equipment for the van and all our site fees for the year. It also paid for some major work to the house and the garden.

Going on todays prices, £198 is less than 2 weeks fag money and by the end of 2 weeks I am not coughing and my house, my car, my clothes and my lungs are all a hell of a lot cleaner. Simples.

I agree.. looking at it like that, it is a lot of money.. with not having many out goings for the last couple of years, smoking is my highest out going.. which is a bit wrong and apart from the obvious health risk, that in its self should tell me something..
