We've never had a full awning, so can't compare, but we've got a Sunncamp 390 Crown, which is perfectly adequate for our needs. It's crown shape, which makes it deeper than other 390s. Not airbeam, as we couldn't justify the extra expense.
We now leave the beds made up and only eat in the awning. There's plenty of room, for our family of 4 plus all the coats, shoes, scooters and general tat that comes along with us.
We bought at the NEC where we were able to compare several brands.
From personal experience I can say selecting an awning is not that difficult task. All you need is to consider certain factors while buying. We bought two custom awnings last month, its a manual home awning that can be easily closed and opened by hand crank. If you are buying it for protection from UV rays I recommend you to check if the awning is water and mildew resistant.

LOL... nice try with the advertising, but I don't think those will fit on a caravan!
