Can't help but think someone has missed a trick here. Lunar swept the floor with awards for their transverse island bed / mid full width washroom but on a twin axle.
Sterling Eccles Elite is a a mid full width washroom with a north south fixed end bed on a single axle.
This layout still gives rise to 'mountaineering' for those who sleep on the right of the fixed bed :(
Wonder when some caravan maker will make a mid full width washroom transverse end bed on a single axle??
This would seem to be the ideal solution.
We looked at the Lunar RI, but found that in order to accommodate the central bathroom they compromised the length of the front seats which are now a lot shorter than any other twin axle plus moving down the sides of the transverse beds was a bit tricky due to the aisles being so narrow.
