That may well be true, but there are probably still millions of them in regular use. How many trailers are fitted with 13 pin plugs? What percentage of caravan buyers buy new?

all well and good when your working ,not so good on a pension when you have to go with whats affordable ,in fact if we were still both working a caravan would be obsolete as it was simpler to jump on a plane to guaranteed sunshine something we did at least three times a year .

Quite so, Black Fox. That's precisely why we have a 1992 caravan and a 2000 car. Pension doesn't go far at all. Been looking for another slightly newer car, but nothing suitable that's affordable.
