Yeah i do go futher afield. Been to the Isle of Wight and stayed at Lower Hyde

Been to Yarmouth and Hastings. I must admit though that is all really as we just haven't been able to do more unfortunatly yet.  I have obviously been to Jaywick and Clacton loads of time just not camping.

I have heard about the New forest but haven't looked into doing that yet.

Where have you been? Maybe I should start a new thread as I keep doing this today, get chatting to people and totally going off the thread subject.  I am not sure if people mind or not?

New forest is a good place to go. Great for young children too.

My brother lives in Hastings.. would be good to go camping there and see him at the same time so if you can suggest any caravan sites you have stayed at, i'd appreciate it.

Camping in clacton and jaywick is good, although some sites have stopped tourists staying there which is.. well poo! but theres still some decent places to stay

Well we have only stayed at one site in Hastings, well it's actually Sidley near Bexhill.  It is a lovely clean family run site.  They have a few farm animals which you can feed if you ask first. Laundry room which is very cheap and showers which are spotless.  I will certainly be going back and my sister has been many times. 

 Oh I should tell you what it's called lol I know it as Cobbs farm but I think the correct name is cobbs hill farm, as that is the name on here, I'm assuming it's the same place, and on here it has the same positive reviews as mine.

You should try the New Forest when you get a chance. It's great for kids. Wild ponies etc!!

Actually I can just imagine what the book says about fixing in a shower only you did say was easy.

Here goes:  First fill the kettle and light the gas. Place the kettle on the gas until the water is boiling.

Then we get a bucket and fill it half way with cold water and then mix the boiling water from the kettle in

Then we stand the kids outside away from the caravan the throw it at them, if your lucky they might go down like skittles. I think you will find that is a 2 for 1 deal.  Kids get clean and you get to play skittles lol

Now if they are better than that it would be great thanks, or even the book title

i live in harlow essex and have a mardon dalesman 490/2et roydon is more for sited vans i think but quite good facilities  we go to waldergraves on mersey island mainly for the entertainment and it is an easy tow from harlow may catch up with you sometime regards mr plastic
