So once "they" switch off the analogue, what are we supposed to do??? Many sites are in poor reception areas at the moment( digitally speaking ) , but are not exactly remote. So there must be plenty of permanent inhabitants similarly affected. Looking on that site given above, the coverage in Scotland is abysmal. Other areas too.

They won't switch the analogue off if there is no digital reception. Nobody will pay the licence fees. It is all scaremongering and probably won't happen for another 5 years at least.
