if you go for a roof mounted one get a "MPPT regulator", and a non reflective panel
power tracker regulators will give you the best results from your panel, they do the same thing as you would with a panel on a stand on the grass.
If you have a panel on a stand you can move it to face the sun getting the best results possible, a tracker copies this, conventional regulators don't, they will only give you maximum power at mid day. & never buy a shunt regulator, get a series type
