Yeah, I think you are missing the fact that when caravans are designed and built they are not full of caravaning equipment and provisions. It is very difficult to pack the van as I want to and still keep the noseweight down if I put two gas bottles and a spare wheel in the front locker. The spare wheel is slung underneath and I only take one gas bottle anyway. Apart from that different vehicles have different reccomended weights for their towing hitches.

What I am saying is not that the gas bottles are too heavy. I am saying that because of their weight I prefer to place them elsewhere.

Anyway that it's my choice!
