Have been to Nantes twice. Once via Brittany ferries with van and once in car from Calais. To avoid fatigue issues, we slept on the overnight seats on the Britanny ferry but ran into day time traffic problems and arrived at campsite very late evening. Think it was the time of year that the French factories close and everyone goes on holiday over the same two days. We also very severely under-estimated delays due to traffic congestion and missed our Calais ferry back by four hours, even though we had made generous allowances for stoppages. I couldn't begin to give you times. Just know it can be one hell of a journey - sorry. Guess a lot depends upon the french holiday season.
