and welcome to the wonderful world of caravanning

we go to golden square caravan park quite a lot as the kids just love it if you come down the A19 and follow the alternative route to scarbrough then you will have a safe and pleasant journey to your site. i have towed caravans for many years now,  i was talking to a customer of mine who is also a very keen caravanner and he told me about the Stokesley bypass route which takes you directly to helmsley so taking his advice we went this way! but never again. if you think sutton bank is bad without a caravan then i personally wouldnt reccomend this way we have a god size car to tow our van but i was nearly in first gear on some points of the journey thats how bad it got it may be less miles when calculated but time factor it takes longer as your speed is realy reduced as you would be on winding country roads.
