We are members of both too!! I agree that the magazines are worth the joining fee. Only stayed on one cc site really near us and the older people did complain to the warden about our children playing (we were having a sports day!!) The miserable so and so's could hardly muster a smile AND we were nowhere near any caravans. The kids are all grown up now so may try again. Fancy Windermere site but bet this is always booked up!! I use the CCC Keswick site quite often and love it. Have used a lot of their sites and usually they ask if you are happy with your pitch or when you book on line you can request a certain pitch if possible. Ive always been happy!!

I think much will depend on what you want from a site - if you want good shower blocks, well laid out relaxing sites etc either of the clubs are great.

If you want all singing all dancing sites with entertainments then CC and CC&C are not for you.

There are plenty of good non club sites too that offer good facilities that are also relaxing etc etc at similar costs as club sites.

We joined the CC but because we have 3 children aged 13, 11 and 8 we use other sites too. We have used 5* sites, Haven site (just the once) and CC sites all give us different things.
